I had the opportunity to spend a couple hours with this beautiful extended family. I was lucky to have been in touch with a past co-worker & friend who just happened to be looking to get her family photos done for the Holidays. I am blessed to be able to share such a special time with this clan of close-knit families. You would never know from the pictures that this family received some bad news earlier that day. They all came together and fought through their emotions to be able to not only take photos of their immediate family members, but also to surprise their mother in law with a portrait of the entire family as a gift for Christmas.
I am a pretty up-front person and I can tell you that I always get all giddy inside when I talk to clients about what their vision is and then meeting up and seeing the closeness of the families. Was I nervous photographing a family of 17? Who wouldn’t be? Was I excited to be have this opportunity? YES! I sure was! I can’t wait for many more moments with these families. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to not only meet each one of you and learn a little about the families but a special thank you to Lauren for all your help throughout the process. It was so special to be on location at their beautiful home where the kids felt comfortable and everyone was literally, “right at home”.
Thank you to each one of you and a special thank you to my awesome niece, Peyton who was my right hand woman throughout the entire session.
